Value for money. What does one do with the remainder of the Christmas ham, & the cream that didn’t get whipped for the pav? They mix them together with a couple of other ingredients & pour over the al dente cooked woolies spaghetti!easy as meal!1. The spaghetti is value for money2. The spaghetti is tasty3. The spaghetti is an easy, convenient staple to have in the pantry4. I regularly buy this 1 & will continue to do so!Thanks PS if the woolies Parmesan every comes up for review my hand is up to test!!!

Great value. Great pantry staple. My teens will often cook up a batch for an afternoon snack. I would say it cooks well especially since a teenager could cook it without any problems. It does tend to stick a little but oil, salt and stirring during cooking tends to help it seperate a bit.

Good pantry staple spaghetti. I made spag bol with this pasta. It is Australian wheat and I simply cooked the pack in a large pot of boiling water. I sometimes follow the cooking instructions on the pack, but I usually taste a piece and take it out when it’s still firm. I noticed the pasta size is a little thinner size than other spaghetti pasta I’ve bought before, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. The pasta has a good taste and I’d buy again.

Very good quality. I normally get the cheapest spaghetti on the shelf, after all the ingredients are pretty much the same right? Wrong!I was actually quite surprised to note the difference in quality that a few cents made between this pasta and the homebrand version. Very easy to spot on the shelf and pretty cheap compared to its competitors I had ignored this pasta until now as I thought there couldn't be much difference to be had. I'm a bargain hunter at heart and like to be smart with my dollars and I kinda feel like I've been missing out now that I know the difference. The green packaging lends it a bright and cheerful feel and don't we all feel happy when there's pasta to be had?Cooking was a breeze as it normally is with pasta but the main noted difference was ... MoreVery good quality. The green packaging lends it a bright and cheerful feel and don't we all feel happy when there's pasta to be had?Cooking was a breeze as it normally is with pasta but the main noted difference was the texture here, even when it should have been a little overcooked it didn't turn soggy or lose it's bite and I'm thoroughly impressed considering the pasta here is a little thinner then the spaghetti I'm used to making. I love that it's slightly thinner so there's more of it on the plate and your mouthful per bite doesn't feel as dense. Will definitely be throwing this in my basket again as the budget allows from now on.
Just as good. I have been purchasing the Woolworths home branded pastas for years and why not?? They are half the price and just as good as more expensive brands. Great packaging and easy to find on the shelf. So versatile and we eat it at least once a week as a midweek quick dinner. Just change the sauce and it’s a different meal. Bon appetite!!
Used as FRIED NOODLES..... I, firstly, cooked the Woolworths Select Spaghetti, in boiling hot water. Then, secondly, I decided to add a bit of vegetable oil in a frying pan to fry the cooked spaghetti with some Bok Choy, seasoned with a little bit of Soy Sauce. END RESULT..... a delicious dish of Fried "Noodles" with Bok Choy. This one pack with Bok Choy ended up being SHARED & ENJOYED by 4 people.... Believe it or not??? Love the FRESHNESS of the Woolworths Select Spaghetti. Well done & thumbs up for Woolworths Select branded products. Please keep up the good work & good price, Woolworths :-).
Okay pasta. It’s very affordable so I always buy it specially when my other favourite brand isn’t on sale. The price is it’s biggest pro factor. If you follow the cooking instructions, pasta will be perfectly soft and firm. However, the pasta noodles stick together making it difficult to be served in individual plates specially if it was exposed to the air for many minutes. They also go firmer so better consume it while it’s hot.
Equivalent to Angel Hair pasta. My mother-in-law got me onto this pasta. She said I needed to try the “angel hair” pasta from Woolworths in the “green pack”. I couldn’t find what she was talking about so I bought the Woolworths Spaghetti hoping that might be what she was talking about. And she was right! It’s fine like the angel hair pasta. Great quality. Similar to more expensive brands but finer strands of pasta (which I love!)Good price at $1 per pack. I’ve continued to buy it ever since!
Versatile value. Great value spaghetti which tastes just as good as the more expensive major brands. One packet was enough to serve a large plate of spaghetti marinara to 4 people - plus there's enough spaghetti leftover to reheat with garlic and melted cheese for lunch or dinner tomorrow. The quality is quite impressive and the spaghetti wasn't starchy (which can happen with cheaper brands). Perfect texture and thickness for a variety of dishes. Will definitely purchase in future.
Great pasta, great price point. This is a staple in my pantry! Cooks very well without sticking together. Team with a favourite sauce ( mine is the Lego range with roasted veggies in tomato, garlic). But would team nicely with any good sauces. A sprinkle of cheese and a Woolies par baked roll. So easy, so tasty !
