Woolworths Tuna Fish Mexican Style 95g

A bit bland and oily. Was looking forward to trying this product but was disappointed. Rather bland flavour and very oily when I opened the can. Ok if nothing else available but was expecting more flavour. FAD free and dolphin friendly, inexpensive and convenient are all good things about it, but there are nicer flavours!

Very tasty tuna snack. Love this product. Always have loved Woolworth's tuna no matter what the flavor. The tuna had a nice flavor and wasn’t too sweet, tangy, or spicy. The tuna can is 95g and costs 90cents, which is pretty affordable and very versatile to use, I have put it with rice or 2 min Noodles, and its always enjoyable to eat.

Interesting variation. I wouldn’t normally have bothered with a “Mexican” flavoured tuna but Bunch provided me with this interesting flavoured snack. I mixed this through a green salad for an easy to prepare work lunch. It’s worth noting that this product has half the amount (35%) of tuna as the Tuna in Spring water (70%).

Bland, not really Mexican flavoured. I've been to Mexico, I've eaten and cooked a lot of Mexican cuisine - it's one of my favourites. I was really looking forward to trying this to see how it what it would be like. This tuna was bland and tasted odd, had a hint of some spices but definitely didn't have any real Mexican flavour, however it was made more palatable with the addition of some homeade chipotle salsa.

Really enjoyed this. This tuna tasted really great. I served it with brown rice. The 2 worked really well together. Tuna had a mild spice flavour which over powers the “tuna” taste and smell. Will purchase this again at 90cents it is a great price compared to other brands.

Convenient and good value. I have tried several flavours from this range of tuna. I enjoyed the Mexican flavour. I enjoyed this on toast for a light lunch. I believe it is good value for money and I would purchase it again. I look forward to trying even more of the range.

Good mild taste. I was quite surprised when I opened the tin to see that it had red kidney beans, onion, tomato & green capsicum mixed with the tuna & a lot of sauce. I clearly didn’t look at the front of the tin lol. I had it on vita wheat biscuits. Quite tasty, not spicy at all. Would also be good mixed through a small salad.

Enjoyed the mild tuna taste. We don’t eat a lot of tuna but we both liked this sample. We don’t like a strong tuna flavour and this was perfect! The Mexican flavour made it just right! Had it on rice cakes for lunch and really enjoyed it. Would be nice on toast. Great price and will buy it again.

Good for assembling lunch on the go. Visible beans & veggies. Had inside a pita pocket for lunch when I was in a hurry at work. I liked that there were a few veggies in there and visible. Flavour was mild, the tuna is really the dominating taste. Its a nice shelf stable thing to keep in the drawer for emergencies so I don't resort to take out. I prefer canned chicken, tuna has too strong a smell, but they don't have as many flavour options for chicken, so this was nice to try for a change.

Great taste. As a Mexican flavour I was expecting this tuna to contain Mexican spices; but could NOT taste any. Other than that, this can of tuna has a great ratio of fluid to tuna and tasted great, but I would NOT buy this product in the future in this size can, however, IF this tuna came in a larger size can, then I would definitely buy it regularly. I made sandwiches from my sample of this product using multigrain bread and added cheese, tomato, and cucumber.
