This is a wonderful product. It is easy to use and delivers outstanding results. My only concern is that it is hard to use on very tall cleavers. Otherwise, it puts a great edge on all my knives and it is very easy to use.

I read a milk street review and decided to purchase this sharpener. It’s not for high end knives which is what I wanted it for. I expected more after such a review.
This is a wonderful product. It is easy to use and delivers outstanding results. My only concern is that it is hard to use on very tall cleavers. Otherwise, it puts a great edge on all my knives and it is very easy to use.
It is easy to use and works well. The rolling sharpener rolls so smoothly. Sharpened all my knives as soon as it arrived.
With the way the angles are set on the magnetic holder, I'm much more confident in sharpening my knives. This is a handy tool, easy to use and stores compactly. I've already bought a second one for my son.
I had second thoughts about the knife sharpener, so when I got it I didn't open the box. When I went to return it I was told that Milk Street didn't usually accept returns, but that an "exception" was made, but I'd have to pay for the shipping! I've made a lot of Milk Street purchases, but this is the last one! Who doesn't accept returns?
It actually works well however, I saw the exact product for $40 cheaper available from the company that makes it and Milk Street would not price match.
I learned about proper sharpening from my grandfather. I still have his stones. But my sharpening tools surpass his by a considerable margin.When I read of this magically good rolling sharpener, my respect for Milk Street’s ability to select superb kitchen tools influenced me, tempted me . . . to try this sharpener with a magical ability to sharpen any edged tool to an almost dangerously sharp edge, even for someone with little prior sharpening experience.I bought one, tried it, and do not consider the results it provides to be remotely close to the quality tools I already have.Bottom line, don’t fall for the hype on this one. This sharpener is mediocre at best, and definitely not worth its price!Learn more, look further before buying.
Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but it's not sharpening my knives at all. None of them. Will watch the video again but in the meantime it's in the back of the cupboard.
