If you are the person who just use device from your internet service provider, you must try this and feel the difference by yourself. Pro: fast, reliable stable internet without much heat. Also set up is VERY easy. Product design: simply perfect. Con: if you are still using old phone like me(iphone6), you may experience trouble, since the app will not work old ios. If anyone in your home got better phone, it simply does not matter. Set up once, and it will work well. If anyone I know want to buy router, I will recommend this product.

Tried 3 other brand routers before this one. Returned all 3. Couldn't get them to work, bad apps etc. I needed a little help from my ISP customer service and installed with little problems. Rotated the unit 90 degrees one time and the coverage in my 1500 sq ft house is excellent with 350 mbps down load and 23 mbps upload on the computer furthest away from the router. The ISP plan states up to 500 mbps .This netgear product seems to be an excellent choice. Will be buying more netgear products in the future no doubt.

What I like is the openVPN support so I can use my home internet securely from anywhere.However the ReadyShare can be improved, the admin password is fine but in case I need to create another public folder, it works quite strange.Other than that, I don't know why Remote Management is not available. Anywhere Access is only for basic thing. However I can use VPN as a workaround.

Found this item at Walmart at an incredible price. I was looking for a replacement somenthing to provide me with more speed, took it home and this device just increased our internet service x10 faster!! Great item to have and plus the nighthawk app made it simple for it to work in a flash. The signal I have before for my security system was very lame and not good at all, but with this new router made a big difference and no need for wifi extenders. I would say I can recommend this item to anyone. Give a try, it won't hurt your pocket.
I would say most definitely. It allows you to add devices and stopping any others from connecting. Never had real pro ldms with it. The usual power cycles would happen (as it does with every router) syncing with the modem. I have about 11 devices connected to it. Go's through 4 walls about 30 feet away. So yes, for me it's worth it. You can find great deals at a lot of places online. Anyways, have a blessed day/night. Worth the buy 👋
The router seems to be great. I haven't had it for long.I really only have two issues. The first is that you have to own a cell phone to set it up yourself or you'll have to call customer service. I don't own a cell phone so that was a bother.The second issue is that the led lights are really bright in a darkened room. This may cause some people issues when trying to sleep if the router is placed in a bedroom.Overall, the price for the features is great.
I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk Mesh System over a year ago and have not been sorry. Its maintained over 120 mbps download rate consistently with few issues once I was able to figure out how to update the router and satellites. Ive been searching for a deal on additional satellites for the past several months and finally made the purchase. I worked for days trying to connect them to the app with little success while they were both reading as connected. Finally, after working with Support for several hours, we discovered by happenstance that we had a hot plug that was disrupting the flow of electricity through the home. Once the electrician was able to diagnose and repair the problem the app connected all 4 satellites and Ive once again had no signal issues. I had a frustrating week of trying to get my computer and router to link to my internet network at the same time. It turned out to be an issue with Win 10 where I had to disable ethernet then re enable. That turned off the router amber light. I could finally go to router login and start the Genie program and just follow the instructions. Worked like a charm. Haven't had the router long enough to leave a review other than it does work. No one in the chat group had the right solution but did try all their suggestions. Thanks for trying.
Great budget router. Hasn’t let me down. Setup deliberately simple, but quick. Simple design. Antennas are great, just up or down and having to point 10 of them in different directions. LEDs are vibrant. One thing only that could be done, the icons on the router that represent what each LEDs are for, are black, just like the rest of the router. Could possibly be outlined white to see the icons better. I personally dabbed on some liquid paper and wiped off the excess, now icons pop. Simple beast of a router!
