This is my first ever brand new oven. I love it - heats and cooks so evenly. Not difficult to use but read the instructions well and it all makes sense. The display is excellent - first digital display and puch button I have used so takes a minute to get used to, but after reading and a couple of trials it's perfect. Wonderful build by Bosch - very solid and well though out. Completely worth the price

Third, the trays inside have a raised surface, which makes it very awkward when removing heavy, very hot baking dishes. This would be the most annoying, and for me, a dangerous design feature, because you are unable to slide the dishes out, you need to lift and manoeuvre while red hot fan air is blowing in your face. I’ve already dropped food and burnt my fingers. If I had the option, I would not buy this oven again.

My previous oven was a Bosch but I didn't like self-cleaning function and too many extras so I decided to buy a simple Bosch oven. However the build quality doesn't seem as good as my last Bosch oven unfortunately. Cooks great but the racks have a lot of play and the the funky slide out drawers a bit bothersome for what they offer. Nice large baking trays included which hold a lot of roast vegetables. Timer sounds distorted which makes me wonder if it doesn't work correctly. Otherwise I'm hoping it lasts as long as my last Bosch.

Love the look of my new 71L oven. Lovely build and accessories. Good size for roasts and plenty of room for multiple shelf cooking. Clean lines and one piece glass door makes for easy cleaning. Love that the dials retract and its good to have the clock and timer.
I really like this oven for cooking, but it seems to be constantly trying to cool itself by venting heat into the kitchen via the gap above it's door. If we cook a roast the whole room gets too hot by the end of it! I wish it would just cook the food, not roast everyone in the room. Is there an installation option where it vents heat outside instead somehow?
I like the look of the oven, however it is not practical. My first experience using the oven for pizza has left me disappointed. As I was placing the pizza into the oven a small piece of grated cheese went through the space between the two pieces of glass that make up the door, via the door handle. For me to get to the cheese I would have to dismantle the whole door! Some cheese dropped from the pizza while cooking leaving burnt black cheese on the light grey interior. I haven’t been able to remove it! Also the oven seems to do a cool down after you turn it off but I can’t find any info about this. If it is not that, it makes a noise for a while after turning off for no reason. If you don’t purchase the tray you need to use one of the two wire shelves as a tray, which only leave you with one other shelf.
I’m very happy with this purchase. At the time of writing, I have used it on a number of different settings to roast meat and bake cakes a few times and they’ve come out well. The oven doesn’t seem to run hot or cool - it seems to get up to accurate temperatures. I haven’t yet used the grill but I’m not expecting that to be anything other than great too. One thing I hadn’t realised, which is an enormous positive, is that most 60cm ovens are 67 litre capacity, whereas this is 71. You get more oven space for your money. This lets me fit multiple things on the different racks perfectly flat, rather than having to shove things in on an angle, or do things in batches. This is genuinely life-enhancing.
Oven looks really good. Very efficient and heats up quick. Fan keeps running after oven is switched off to help remove excess hot air and cool oven down faster, this is normal. Warm air blows out from 2 slots at top of oven, this is normal and for safety reasons. Timer alarm is quiet, beeps 5 times then switches off. Unable to adjust timer volume but no biggy Clock displays in red, maybe blue would be better but comes down to personal preference. Made in Poland so not Chinese rubbish.
I chose Bosch for both its reputation and current price. While I was happy to have a new oven some of the features I wasn't happy with. The pull-out rails on the second bottom shelf are fixed to that position and cannot be replaced elsewhere in the oven. The shelves are lightweight and a bit flimsy and in my opinion nowhere near as sturdy as my previous oven, a Smeg. I found the shelves too light to lock into place when pulling them out, to take out a cake etc. and I was worried they might pull all the way out. The time-setting option gives a barely-audible signal when the cooking time has elapsed. If you're out of the room you don't hear it. Couple of positives are the great indoor light which is bright and the exterior rail to hang your tea-towels on!
Great value for money and bang for buck for the features and quality you get from bosch. Great product if you are looking for a mid-range features product with a quality and reputable build. Dials are analog which is great for longevity (as opposed to all digital touch), 1 set of telescopic arms is a nice convenient bonus feature. oven trays provided are adequate and thoughtful with one even having vents and split half half. Prior to purchasing i did read reviews about bosch oven doors and how crumbs could fall in between the glass panes and never to be retrived again, however upon some further research, I found that it's quite easy to detach the oven door glass for easy retrieval and cleaning between the 2 glass panes by the push mechnisms at the base.
