I thought I received a defective camera because of this. I wish Fuji would have some prompt to let you know if you’d like to enable or disable this feature when beginning.

Awful interface, selling it at a huge loss after six weeks.

I bought this camera on February 23rd of 2023 as my first ever camera for my birthday. The camera is comfortable to hold and use for photo shoots. The battery is a bit weak, so extra batteries are a must. The camera is easy and fun to use and the photos look amazing. The reason for my poor review is because after a day at the zoo taking photos and videos (this was on 8.10.23) , I went to connect my camera to the Fujifilm app on my phone to transfer some photos. However, when I tried to turn on my camera, it would not turn on. I tried every trouble shoot solution I could try. The battery’s are charged and I even used another battery to check and it’s still not working. Just a blank black screen and no response to any button presses.I have been extremely careful with this camera to make sure that the camera is not damaged in any way. It’s disappointing that after a few short months of using this camera that it would all of a sudden stop functioning completely. Before purchasing this camera I debated on Fujifilm, Sony, and Canon, but went with Fujifilm because i wanted to try something different, but now i’m thinking I should have probably just stuck with Sony. It’s unfortunate, the camera was really fun to use and easy to handle, but after having this experience with a non working camera for multiple days, it’s really put a damper on the “Fujifilm experience”.

Fantastic and feature packed camera kit
16 February 2023

I was looking to switch from a smaller sensor system but didn't want the weight and expense of Full Frame kit. So I chose Fujifilm as they specialise in the APS-C size sensor and have loads of lenses to make the most of it. And wow! Does this camera perform well! The X-S10 feels great in the hand, the 16-80mm kit lens is ideal for travel and landscape. It's 5 x zoom capability also lets you get detail shots too. The image quality is fantastic with the 26 MP sensor capturing lots of detail and the Fujifilm Film simulation settings give you easy access to colour and contrast tweaks at the turn of a dial. On top of that In-Body Image Stabilisation lets you shoot at low shutter speeds without a tripod. At long last the SX10 with the 16-80 lens arrived after months of an impatient delay from the manufacturer. It was well worth the wait. I love the aesthetics of the X series cameras but the features and IBIS supplant everything else Fuji is known for. The PASM control, the full handgrip, and the easy to navigate menu whether or not you've had prior experience with Fujifilm cameras make this a must have whether you're a newbie or a professional photographer. The 16-80 lens is remarkable, sharp, and accurate though I have been playing with the 15-45 I already owned and the straight out of the camers JPEGs are high quality in both colour and monochrome.I am not into videos but after watching You Tube clips of the great work the XS10 can produce I will dip my feet into this feature.I recommend this latest iteration of Fuji's compact cameras very, very highly.

As an X-T4 owner upgrading from my second-camera X-E3, and also having used the X-S10, the X-E4 is familiar, but novel. It has no grip contours for fingers nor thumb, but I was wanting an X-E model with a slimmer form, which I can fill-out with accessory grips if I ever feel the need (third-party being the way to go, for a fraction of Fuji's prices). No focus-mode switch on the front, but I almost always use manual focus with back-button activation anyway, and also tend to accidentally move that switch. No rear dial, but I personally don't miss it. The joystick is smaller, and the push-travel of the buttons is weird, but they work as they should. The X-E series has been evolving, and I've used each model since the X-E1, so I find this generation interesting. The X-E series has been evolving, and I've used each model since the X-E1, so I find this generation interesting. I had always wished that the X-E cameras had a tilting LCD screen - which is what had prompted me to go for the X-E4.Complaints? My only one has to do with the assembly of the tilting screen, which leaves the circuit ribbon amply, vulnerably exposed. So I'll try to be careful with it. (It is made as it is so that it can flip up 180 degrees to face forward, which I don't partake in.)My decision to get the X-E4 was based on a lot of research, which included YouTube videos. I've found that some reviewers hadn't known the X-E4 very well. For example, one complained that the eye sensor only switched the LCD image to flip upside-down, when there are four variable menu controls for one to set it. Another had to do with the custom settings, which now permit saving almost all of the parameters of the camera to a memory slot - which to me is useful. And, of course, a lot whinged about the X-E4's having no weather-sealing, no IBIS, no second card slot, and anything else that no X-E camera has ever had, which is why it's an X-E, not an X-T, X-H, nor X-Pro. Like spoiled brats complaining that their new toys aren't as nice as the ones their friends got. I myself feel guilty for being able to own this stuff at all. My X-E4 is largely for using for my job as a product photographer, which is located right by an overpass where people live in their trash-pile encampments, so I'm happy to be able to own it.

This little monster is exactly what I have been craving. A strong photography camera from Fujifilm that doesn't break the bank. This is my first Fujifilm camera, I come from Sony and BMD, but even then I am a filmmaker not a photographer so I have been wanting something in the photography realm that I could have fun with. Fujifilms built in film replications are beautiful, creating stunning imagery straight out of the camera. It's video abilities are limited but that's what the XS20 is for. I bought this puppy for my euro trip and it has not at all disappointed. I'll probably be a lifelong Fujifilm fan from this point on because they have done a wonderful job at sticking to their roots with their in-camera film simulations, making shooting fun and creative in the ... MoreThis little monster is exactly what I have been craving. Upgraded to an X-S10... not an X-T5
27 January 2023

After my trusty X-T30 started acting up I was ready to upgrade to the X-T5... until I didn't, and went for the X-S10. After watching and reading tons of reviews, I decided on the X-S10. A few reasons:- The grip! What a difference the grip makes with longer and heavier lenses, or just for single-handed operation- Same IBIS as the X-T4, which was perfectly fine until a couple of months ago (and still is)- Small and light, almost as light as my X-T30- 26MP is more than enough for my application (amateur, photography only). Keeps file sizes relatively small and efficient.- Much improved autofocus compared to the X-T30- Same battery as the X-T30- Saved enough to buy better glass- Reasonable number of customizable buttons- Still has a pop-up flash (which ... MoreAfter my trusty X-T30 started acting up I was ready to upgrade to the X-T5... until I didn't, and went for the X-S10. Keeps file sizes relatively small and efficient.- Much improved autofocus compared to the X-T30- Same battery as the X-T30- Saved enough to buy better glass- Reasonable number of customizable buttons- Still has a pop-up flash (which the X-T5 doesn't) - great for casual daytime use- Did I mention the grip? There are a few cons but I consider them minor:- Lower EVF resolution and size compared to X-T5 (same as my old X-T30 so I'm ok with that)- Poor battery life (probably due to IBIS)The PSAM dials work great and with 4 custom slots I can switch between completely different settings with a single click - way more powerful and faster than the analog controls on my X-T30.Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. Also kudos to B&H for their support and fast response in solving an issue that turned out to be my own mistake.

Very happy with this purchase!!! Battery life only thing keeping it from a full 5-star rating.

After watching numerous YouTube reviews and opinions on this camera, I decided to take the plunge. I could not be more satisfied with it too as the pros far out weigh the cons. While not what one would expect from a traditional Fuji as far as ease of use goes, with all the dedicated manual dials on other models, Fuji's second dive into the PASM mode after their attempt with the X-H1 is pretty spot-on, I think this can definitely win over other DSLR shooters into mirrorless and the price point is pretty hard to beat, bested only by Sony's a6100 and a6400 but then you lose out on the ISIS in body and Fuji's film simulations to name a few.Ease of use as the dials and buttons have a nice feel to them, and ever since I received this camera, I have been playing with it ... MoreAfter watching numerous YouTube reviews and opinions on this camera, I decided to take the plunge. Love the custom mode settings and have even put in certain settings to be able quick toggle to them based on my needs in certain shooting situations. Video quality is impeccable, and the 18-55 kit lens is one the best kits lenses on the market in my opinion. Auto-focus is pretty darn good for my needs, as I'm nowhere near pro-level shooting anyways, and can't wait to get this thing to family get togethers to test it out there, as well as getting outdoors to take pics of the surrounding area.My suggestions to Fuji on the next iteration of this camera, and yes they should continue to dive further into this new body style, maybe have the Focus mode switch returned to the camera, and a wider grip to accommodate at least the same battery pack that the X-T4 has (as that is again the one item keeping this from a 5-star rating). A wider grip might also allow room for the addition of a D-pad as well. Can't complain about the joystick as it is incredibly responsive, but I do appreciate a good d-pad when I have one. Heck could even make it a dial-pad hybrid similar to Lumix's G-95 or the Sony a6000 series of cameras.Just some thoughts.
