Bought this to complete some paperwork from home while working as well organizing personal life documents as well.Turned out to be a nice investment. It does an ok job at printing ( speed is not on-par with other printers I've worked with, but still acceptable ).The provided cartridges only go for about 100 pages before you get the low ink warning.Scanner is working just fine, both from the feeder and the glass. Changing the resolution of the final scan significantly changes the time, however even with 300 dpi it does a good job on printed/signed documents. The control program works on almost anything, and hooks into your wifi, so don't have to worry about cables. ( Except for the power )Overall happy with the purchase, minor compromises, but the price point ... MoreBought this to complete some paperwork from home while working as well organizing personal life documents as well.Turned out to be a nice investment. It does an ok job at printing ( speed is not on-par with other printers I've worked with, but still acceptable ).The provided cartridges only go for about 100 pages before you get the low ink warning.Scanner is working just fine, both from the feeder and the glass. Got this printer during lockdown, had to print off some homework for my daughter. Easy setup or actually no effort required, simply enter wifi settings into the printer, then from your windows or phone, just select print and choose printer detected on network. Nice and easy! I can place the printer anywhere in the home without need of any cabling. Black and White prints are fast! Color quality is good, can't complain. Comes with 1x black cartridge and 3 other colored ones. Affordable, nice looking design. So far I don't have any cons about this printer.

Great printer for the price. Quick and easy setup using the phone app. Print speed and quality is faster and better than more expensive printers. Wifi is great as we can print from any device without having to worry about transferring files or plugging into different devices. Reliable connectivity with no issues after a month of use. Replacement cartridges are reasonably priced as well and are individual colours so you only replace what you use

Was struggling to decide between a HP Envy Series, Deskjet and Office Jet. Took the plunge with the older Office Jet 8012. I could not find any significant benefits with the new Office Jet 9012 and with this retailing at half the cost, that leaves some cash to buy spare ink cartridges. Set up was smooth. The printer automatically list under Printers. Heck it even started to list on my Android device. The standard software drivers that installs with Windows does allow for some fine control of print quality such as DPI adjustment and general print quality. No USB cable is provided in the box so if you're someone who needs it connected via a physical cable to a desktop computer, you do need to order a USB chord with it. Physical dimensions are bigger, this being a Home Office category printer, with an expected print yield of ~800 pages a month, by design. Print and Scan quality are good.
If only I had read the reviews BEFORE purchasing ... I could hand write a page quicker than this can print a page. Do yourself a favour and research before buying - and stay away from this model - I only purchased it two days ago - and it is worse than the HP 6220 I just replaced (and that lasted just over 12 months) and I don't print more than 20 pages a month, so it wasn't worked to death.
Stay away from this printer. Several issues cropped up including genuine ink cartridges not being recognised. Terrible software. Appaling build quality. Poor print quality. Currently unusable as it has now developed a printhead error after only 3 months of ownership.
Goes into maintenance every time you want to print something so printing a single page of paper can take 3 or 4 minutes. The paper tray constantly jams and is so poorly made that it broke after a few months. The best thing I ever did was throw it away and buy a different printer. Don't waste your time with this - look at something else.
