When you see a deal like that it's hard to say no, but after keeping an eye out for deals on this grinder for years it's been well worth the wait. It grinds like a dream, and the box keeps all of the beautifully machined parts nice and snug between uses so that there's no chance of damage even if it's dropped somehow.Is it a luxury for the home cook? Sure, but it's a fun new avenue of exploration, and the reassurance that you know exactly what's gone into your ground meats (and can control the quality of them to your own liking) makes it a worthwhile investment in my books if you've got a KitchenAid stand mixer. Props to Harts for the swift delivery and sturdy packaging that got it to us unscathed too :)

I made my first batch of sausages the other day using my recently purchased Kitchen Aid meet grinder & sausage stuffer. It worked very well - stuffing the sausages was much easier than I expected. I’ll be banging out many more bangers from now on. Great bit of kit.

I bought the KitchenAid stand mixer in October and thought a mincer attachment would be useful. I’d had one before when I had my Kenwood Chef and used it a lot, however, the KitchenAid mincer is far superior as it has an assortment of blades for all kinds of foods. It’s sturdy and seems very well made, I’m sure it will serve purpose for years to come

Easy to install with straight forward instructions. Stainless steel version is definitely better than plastic in the long run for sure, although it is a little more expensive! Just need to make sure it is cleaned with hot watch each time and dry throughly before putting it away.
Very pleased with my purchase. I have been looking for a decent meat mincer for a long time and found this at last. I bought two meat mincers years ago, which were failed by their quality. This one is very easy to use and the blades are very good quality. Definitely thumb up.
I have been using the less professional version (i.e., the plastic composite one) for many years but it has started to crack. It is used at least once a week so I decided to replace it with the more professional all metal version. It is very well made and I suspect it will last for the foreseeable future. Very happy with it.
After the first month of using the stand mixer, I can say that: the mixers mix doughs very well, both bread dough and delicate sponge cakes and creams. Very easy to replace the stirrers and an additional bowl makes work easier. Simple installation of additional accessories such as a meat grinder or juice blender has never been so easy. The overall rating is very very good.
The guys at Harts of Stur are really Fantastic. I ordered the Kitchenaid Grinder to replace the Kitchenaid plastic grinder attachment as I was really worried it would break, so I replaced it with this Beautiful stainless steel Kitchenaid model, Order process was fantastic, delivery was exceptionally fast. The metal meat grinder is a great addition to the Kitchenaid, and excellent for homemade burgers and sausages and meat terrines, I Highly recommended it, and Harts of Stur give top-class service as always.
It does exactly what it says on the box, easy to set up, easy to use, the only issue is cleaning after use but it's a small niggle compared to the wonderful sausages it can create. Mincing the meat was extremely fun for the whole family and weirdly satisfying! Especially, given I remember the work it took to use a traditional grinder by hand that clamped to a table. Same results, far less effort.
It’s so easy to set up and use. Hand washing it is easy too although I would have preferred ifit was dishwater safe. I don’t use it too often so it’s not too much of a chore. It effortlessly did my lamb leg and silverside of beef. I prefer to wash and dry my meat before mincing and consuming it - more hygienic. It’s not too noisy as I had imagined it would be. Love it!
