This is another toner, similar to the "Platinum Ice" acidic toner offered by L'Oreal. This colour has a very subtle lilac sheen, but this is only noticeable if you have hair colour lightened to 8-10. The acidic formula neutralises brassy yellow hair and also the alkalinity of hair after bleaching, which can make it porous. This toner was easy to use - it comes with developer and a good dose of conditioner so it really did make my hair happier after bleaching. My hair is a bit darker, but it was still good at neutralising the warmer tones in my hair and left it feeling very soft.

This is an Ammonia-Free Post-Bleach treatment for levels 9-10 (probably). After you bleach your hair, it becomes alkaline which can leave it looking lifeless and porous. The idea behind this acidic toner is that it restores the pH balance of your hair. The colourant is also supposed to get rid of orange and yellow tones and the conditioner improves the condition of your hair. I have to admit that my hair was quite a bit darker than the levels recommended. However, I still liked the result and think it helped it look less orange. Certainly the formula is very good and will make your bleached, straw-like tresses look a lot healthier. It would be great if L'Oreal would cater more to brunettes with lightened hair in the future.

I recently bleached my hair from dark blonde as I wanted to go much lighter blonde, I'm aiming for platinum blonde but I'm taking my time to get there so I don't do alot of damage to ny hair. After bleaching I was left with that awful yellowy orange tone in my hair, and I was nervous about using this toner but thank goodness I did!!! Oh my God it has saved the colour and condition of my hair!! My hair is now a beautiful light blonde, it's not quite platinum yet but I will get there and I will DEFINITELY use this product again it's amazing and my hair is so soft after using it!!Very pleased 😀
Bought yesterday. I had virgin mousey brown and blonde hair. I used a bleach colour witch turned it yellow. I then used this. The smells is fine not strong and felt so smooth putting it on. But washing it off felt like I had chewing gum in my hair. Wether this was from the bleach or this however this is post bleaching so shouldn't matter.Anyway most of the colour is lovely definitely git rid of the yellow. I have short hair as I lost it last year. And had plenty! I left it on a directed but it's still got patches of yellow. For the price I'd expect it to be an even tone eso9as the yellow bleach was all even.I wouldn't buy this again incase it didn't work again however everyone's experience may be different. My hair has been falling out ever since using this product. I contacted L'Oréal to make a complaint and they asked for details, then they ignored my response. They have since ignored every attempt at contact. This company absolutely do not care if they ruin your hair. They are not interested. Be aware, I'm not the only one this has happened to. If you don't want your hair to fall out, why risk using this product? I am miserable and wish I'd stuck to blue conditioner which was working perfectly fine at neutralising unwanted tones in my hair prior to using this, I just wanted something that lasted longer. But now my hair is falling out. I'm suffering extensive hair loss. This product is the sole cause for the hair loss I'm experiencing and L'Oréal will not help when ... The Venice Ultra-Light Cool Crystal Blonde Permanent Hair Dye is amazing! It gave me a beautiful, icy blonde shade with zero brassiness, just like I wanted. I had bleached and very yellow hair and it managed to remove about 95% of the yellow tones, I am pretty confident that the rest will come out with purple shampoo. The colour it left is a lovely pearly creamy blonde, very natural looking and none of the issues of turning your hair blue that you get with some ashy toners. It also left my hair in great condition which is difficult after bleach! Obviously the colour isn't exactly what is on the box but that is to be ...
