For me, I don't know if I will be repurchasing this mascara. I have used it twice since receiving it and while the brand is great and I really like the color, this mascara is not a great fit for me. It is a very wet mascara, and stays wet for a while. I have the traditional very straight Asian eyelashes that struggle to hold a curl, so most of the time I wear waterproof mascara. After curling my eyelashes and applying 1 layer of mascara, my eyelashes were the same length, no more curl, and the mascara was already smudging. I did recurl and then reapply (twice) for the final result that I have included in the picture. This mascara is decent. I've never used MAC before and enjoyed this product. I prefer the darkest black mascara colors out there but I was very shocked to see that the brown wasn't noticeable. I'm assuming because of my dark eyelashes. On someone with blonde or light ones, it'll definitely show up. I really like the brush shape and bristles. I found that this dries quickly but is still very blendable. I always do multiple layers regardless of mascara claims. I did a few layers and there was no clumping. So, the claims are true for no clumping and 'endless' layering. Also, I don't know if it's claimed to be waterproof but it is not. I was super excited to try a brown mascara for something a little softer looking, but unfortunately this product fell short of expectations! I have stick straight lashes that could definitely use length and curl and to be honest, most mascaras don't work well on me. This one was no exception - the packaging promises it won't be clumpy but unfortunately it applied VERY CLUMPY on my lashes!I have naturally black lashes and tbh it's not very obvious that it's brown on my lashes. Not sure what color it'll look like on others but at least it looks natural on me!I tried stacking and it just got further clumplier - it's clump city over here!It is holding my curl okay although it's not supremely curling - at least you can see my curl! The amazing macro brush is great because it applies makeup to all of your lashes-even the smallest ones-without smearing or clumping. Over the day, the mixture holds up well and doesn't flake. I really like how hassle-free and easy it is to take off at the end of the day. Its elegant and small packaging makes it ideal for travel. It takes a few seconds to be dry but that helps the color stay longer. It did make my eyelashes very long and spread out. Chestnut color makes lashes look more natural. This mascara would be perfect for someone going on a trip that can only pack minimally or if you're just someone that likes to keep things simple, because it can be applied for a natural or glamorous look, curls your lashes, and you can use it for your bottom lashes. I am very impressed and satisfied with this new brown Mac mascara. If you want that one mascara that does it all- look no further!
