The Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe acoustic guitar is a new interpretation of the Martin Vintage guitar. The Modern Deluxe series is the result of traditional guitar building methods paired with the latest technologies and trends. The Martin 000-42 Modern Deluxe is made of solid tonewoods. The top wood is solid spruce, which has been artificially aged using the Martin VTS system. The vibration characteristics have been significantly improved and a fullness of sound is created that you would not expect from a new instrument. The top construction was realized by an X-Bracing Scalloped (Adirondack spruce VTS). The back and sides were made of solid East Indian rosewood. The top wood, back, sides, neck back and headstock were finished in high gloss. The mahogany neck (Shape: Vintage-Deluxe / High-Performance Taper) was pampered with an ebony fingerboard. The Martin 00042 Modern Deluxe was decorated in 42 style. The Martin 00042 Modern Deluxe comes with a Martin case and certificate. Each acoustic guitar is tested and set in our workshop for acoustic guitars.
