The shade 7/4 is the perfect shade to touch up level 5 or 6 red hair. Colour touch runs a level dark, so be sure and calculate the shade you choose based on this fact. This is a true red and if you're not in to a very red look, you can mix this shade in equal parts with 7/7 (which has a brown base or 6/7 if you want to go a bit darker) and you will have a beautiful auburn hue. Colour touch is best used with colour touch 4 percent developer (13 volume) but you can substitute a good name brand developer in a 10 volume strength, which will work equally well. The higher volume developer will make the colour last longer, however. Colour touch delivers nonstop shine and is easy to use.
