Our cats are on a dry diet however sometimes they get wet treats, and these were a perfect fit for that. I love that the shredded chicken and duck recipe has chicken and duck as the first real ingredients. The little bit of water in the package is perfect for mixing into the dry food. The shredded bits were a great size for them to be able to pick up and snack. No added artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors is fantastic in a world of filler in pet foods. One package is surely enough for each, but with adding it to dry food, I split it between them and it was just enough. At $9 for 8 packs I think I would keep this in the treat rotation, but also recommend it to anyone whose cat requires a wet diet for any reason. *I received this product for free as part of a campaign* my pets have tried wellness products before, my dog ate the wellness toppers for years. They’re not super fatty, which is why we buy them. My cat really loved the shredded chicken and duck recipe. He typically eats dry food with a little bit of wet food. This was a perfect amount for combination feeding. My cat licked the entire bowl. I don’t think I would add this as a meal on its own but rather as a supplementary feeding or topper.

This product was sent to me as part of a promotion, but all reviews are my own true honest opinions on the product. I was very excited for my cat to try this because she loves wet food, specifically chicken and duck flavours. My cat doesn’t discriminate too much when it comes to food in general, but unfortunately she didn’t care for his wet food. She usually rushes to her bowl as soon as I set it down, but with this food she seemed completely uninterested. Later she did end up eating about 1/3 but left the rest until the end of the day. However, the other cats in the house enjoyed it so it seems to be just a preference issue. I probably will not purchase this brand or food for my cat but would recommend others to try it out.

I was so excited to try the new Wellness Appetizing Entrees so were my boys. Starting with the packaging, I love that this comes in a packet. Since it’s on the smaller size, I don’t have to worry about waste or storage of leftovers. This lacked a strong smell, which I appreciate. My cats were immediately drawn the moment I put their bowl down. They immediately slurped up the gravy but left behind the shreds, typical of them. My little black cat is not a terribly picky eater, but you can tell when she really likes something and she LOVED this! The shredded chicken and duck looked great, it smelled good (and I'm not even a meat eater), the gravy was really nice, and it all seemed to be quality ingredients. Wellness does well with their packaging and this is no exception. It's bright and playful, the packaging is sturdy but is also super easy to open and pour out. I don't feed wet food as a regular meal and instead use it as an occasional treat, but this is going into regular rotation for treat days!

I received this product free from Influenster and Wellness in exchange for my honest review. The samples I received were the Wellness Appetizing Entrees Shredded Chicken and Duck Recipe. My cat loved the food! He gobbled it up. I loved the smell—it was like regular chicken in broth and it also looked like human food. Probably because the entree is made with real chicken, broth and duck. It is also grain free. The portion size of 1.4 ounces was just right for one meal. The only issue I experienced was getting the food out of the pouch as it was a little bit difficult to squeeze it all out.

Wow! So I received this through influester for review. It's literally shredded meat with a little gravy, etc. It's real, no junk, no filler food. We have some feral kittens we are caring for, and they've already learned what these packs look like. I feel like I'm actually giving them something worthwhile. I honestly couldn't believe the quality of this cat food. Sissy always finishes first and tries to steal the rest of her bubby Ozzys food.. its a little pricey for me so I'm going to start using as a topper to stretch it. Otherwise it's literally the best I've seen and I've been doing rescues etc for years... grade A, 5 stars and whatever award you can give it!

My two cats ate this right up! Both cats used to be outdoors and now live indoors 24/7. They are usually fed dry food but now that one is getting older I try to incorporate wet food now. My older cats age is unknown, she's at least six, while the other is about five.My older cat was waiting for me as soon as she heard and smelled the package being opened. She loved the mixture of yummy juices and soft, shredded food.Both cats loved their portions and ate them up right away. Sometimes with new foods, they will get upset stomachs, neither of them had any consequences of that. [Rewarded Review] My Twenty Year Old Kitty Approves!

My 20 year old kitty, Bob, really perks up when he sees a packet of Wellness Appetizing Entrees Shredded Chicken & Duck Recipe in Sauce being spooned into his bowl. It's been a nutritious wet meal for him and I love that it's truly poultry based with no artificial ingredients. It smells delicious and makes me hungry for chicken. The Entrees have been very gentle on Bob's digestive system. Bob is a big guy and he has required a couple packets for a satisfying meal. Bob would benefit with a pate version of this product.

My fussy, picky & hard to please cat LOVES this food! She prefers smooth-type pate food & I was curious if she'd like the shredded, stringy texture of this and at first she only licked the sauce, but I broke up the shreds a bit and yaaah, she ate it all. It's her new fav! The pouches are small, she's going through them quickly, but I'm glad she's happily eating. As for my non-picky cat, ..f'getaboutit..gulped it up. Smells good with good quality chicken & duck shreds, no "unknown" cartilage or bones or oddities. Highly recommend!!
