I love the company and received brilliant service but seriously, 3 things on the Fridge design and packing front:1 - The blue packaging tape used from one end of the appliance to the other is excessive and an utter pain to remove leaving residue everywhere. 2 pieces on the bottom shelf on the crisper, are still there as we cannot work out how to disassemble the shelf over the crisper to extract the pieces of tape. Sure use a colour so its visible, however can't they test one that doesn't leave strips of blue literally on every surface on removal?2 - Who designs a fridge door closing mechanism in such a way that the Left crisper can open with only that door open, but because of the center moving strip to seal the doors, one must open both doors to open the Right ... MoreI love the company and received brilliant service but seriously, 3 things on the Fridge design and packing front:1 - The blue packaging tape used from one end of the appliance to the other is excessive and an utter pain to remove leaving residue everywhere. 2 pieces on the bottom shelf on the crisper, are still there as we cannot work out how to disassemble the shelf over the crisper to extract the pieces of tape. Mate... these dudes need some fridge users in their design team or women or both! Such a simple issue and such an epic design fail! And Yes I should have looked more closely when I was fridge shopping but I missed it. I should have to be that meticulous!3 - And finally, the freezer size and number of compartments are brilliant, however it needs a decent roller track mechanism to help the drawers glide seamlessly in and out and bump stop on all drawers, especially the ice trays, so they don't fly out so easily, if you pull them out too far or fast. Yes you learn, but one shouldn't have to 'learn' how to manage an expensive purchase with such simple design flaws!

We had to replace our Westinghouse side by side fridge/freezer after 20 years of faultless service. The bottom hinge of the fridge door had collapsed & was impossible to find a replacement for. The unit was still working well. This was one of the only models that would fit in the existing cavity without major works on cabinetry. Good looking unit: fridge space is huge but freezer space is way too compartmentalised. We have lost 100 litres of freezer space which is hard to get used to. The right hand crisper bin cannot be removed without both fridge doors being open. All in all I am happy with the purchase but not over the moon. Westinghouse should bring back the 'Virtuoso' side by side model in my opinion.

We needed a large fridge for our family of four (including two teenage boys) and bought this one on sale recently. It suits our needs perfectly and has so much space we've realised we no longer need the extra fridge in the garage so our electricity bill should go down too. I love the additional features such as the built-in bottle rack and ice trays. Very happy with this purchase. Delivery service was fast too, bought the fridge on Saturday and it was delivered the following Monday.

We purchased this fridge just over 2 years ago and it looked great in our new home. The filtered water and ice maker were a real treat. Within the first year the thermostat required replacement and now, just past the 2 year warranty it has had 2 more rounds of repairs including replacement of the main board. Within 5 days of this repair, the fridge has failed again. We had waited 7 weeks for the parts and repair. Fortunately we purchased extended warranty and will be making a claim for a full refund. We will not purchase another Westinghouse refrigerator.
I am Leslie very happy with my long-awaited fridge. It took over eight weeks to arrive I had paid it in full and there was no compensation or interest on my funds which seems a bit unreasonable. However due to Coverd and the local Northern New South Wales floods fridges were in very short supply so I just had to put up with it. It is a well designed and attractive fridge I like all the internal compartments and arrangements and the outside seems solid and well finished. However looking at the front of the fridge the right hand upper door sits higher than the left hand up the door its only worry about 3 mm but its very noticeable. I considered complaining and asking for an exchange but having waited so long I thought can I live with this and decidedI will choose to ... MoreI am Leslie very happy with my long-awaited fridge. I guess this is due to being a rush job and I guess that would be the situation with the majority of fridges around.
Having previously purchased Westinghouse ovens for our new kitchen when shopping this fridge also stood out in an aisle of big black boxes. The Westinghouse has a very stylish dark stainless finish, fabulous shape and is very functional inside if its beautiful exterior. We replaced our 2 door fridge which needed too much room to open the door, now the French Quad door suits the new kitchen perfectly without needing too much space. We love the storage options inside, plenty of options. I really love that you can just open one door for accessing the fridge and freezer - this must make this fridge more energy efficient. Did I mention its quiet! We will continue to support Westinghouse and feel great pride supporting an Australian Company. I'm in love.......
This fridge-freezer is nice and quiet, with plenty of space. When looking at fridges and freezers at the good guys, there was another model very similar with a drawer set up for the freezer instead of the French door setup, and we found that set up was quite awkward as the drawer was quite tall and not great to reach into the bottom of the drawer. However this model is much more convenient, it is easy to get to anything in the frezer, although some amount of capacity is lost as a result. The only thing I don't like about this fridge is the middle seal/bar that is mounted to the lhs door. Quite often when going close the fridge, you have to re close this bar/seal manually as it springs out a bit by itself when opening. It would be great to a different design to seal ... MoreThis fridge-freezer is nice and quiet, with plenty of space. Only owned the unit for < 4 weeks so time will tell the reliability. The Fridge section has loads of space but odd shellf spacing so I suggest you inspect this to see if it meets your requirements. The door shelf spacing is very restrictive and could be better. The freezer sounds like a great idea having doors but they ruined it by installing slide out tubs with no provision for a shelf option, even on 1 side. The tubs cannot hold a McCain Pizza packet unless its on an angle and overall the tubs waste a lot of space. The ice tray 'feature' is another space wasting novelty. When you unpack the fridge the hideous blue tape will send you nuts. A cleaning solvent like Solvex 1425 quickly removes it and wont damage the plastics but turps may work tooThe fridge is quiet ... MoreOnly owned the unit for < 4 weeks so time will tell the reliability. Be sure to read the manual and correctly adjust the stabilisers under the fridge as you will read in another post that someone was complaining they could not close the doors properly. In opening the RH fridge door you cannot slide out the crisper compartment as it fouls on the center flip-door seal which is mounted to the LH door. A simple mistake the apprentice who designed the fridge has hopefully corrected on his next attempts.Apart from my complaints regarding the basic layout the unit is sleek, quiet and adequate
After 8 months, it's still a pleasure to open my new Westinghouse French Quad DoorRefrigerator and see a modern, bright, orderly storage of refrigerated goods. I'm delighted with the spaciousness and versatility of this model. It has adaptable shelving which includes massive fruit and vegetable temperature controlled bins and widedoor shelves with a lockable medicine chest. The Freezer drawers are generous and cleverly divided into two doors to conserve energy. An important drawcard in my purchase was the Energy Rating and Consumption. It also looks smart and the dark stainless steel is very functional. I no longer dread looking for space and rearranging food to make extra space. My "French Maid" is FANTASTIQUE !!!
I bought this refrigerator after my white Westinghouse Double Door Fridge died after 24 years.Wanted the same double door design in stainless steel - all too high for my cavity in kitchen.Good Guys offered the services of a tradesman they have on speed dial to lift our kitchen cabinets - no thank you!!This stainless steel French Doors Fridge was the only model in Westinghouse range that was a decent size & exact in height! Please consider making more fridges this height, as Good Guys say people are screaming about fridges not fitting in the space in the kitchen!Whisper quiet & no finger marks - great! When unpacking interior of fridge - some blue plastic got stuck in both corners- I have attached photos - can you show me how to remove plastic & if shelf actualy ... MoreI bought this refrigerator after my white Westinghouse Double Door Fridge died after 24 years.Wanted the same double door design in stainless steel - all too high for my cavity in kitchen.Good Guys offered the services of a tradesman they have on speed dial to lift our kitchen cabinets - no thank you!!This stainless steel French Doors Fridge was the only model in Westinghouse range that was a decent size & exact in height! Please consider making more fridges this height, as Good Guys say people are screaming about fridges not fitting in the space in the kitchen!Whisper quiet & no finger marks - great! When unpacking interior of fridge - some blue plastic got stuck in both corners- I have attached photos - can you show me how to remove plastic & if shelf actualy lifts out to free up plastic?!
