Great product. My family lived this product as a great afternoon tea option and for taking to work or Uni. Nice flavours and not too overpowering with the orange peel or flavour. It was moist, tasty and not too big a muffin like the ones you buy in a cafe. At least 81% was made from Aussie ingredients so that was another plus. Would definately buy them again

Really enjoyed these! These are really substantial sized muffins. I didn't get to try one until about a day and a half after picking them up but it was still lovely and fresh. Not stodgy at all as some muffins came be, had a fluffy texture. Good quantity of poppy seeds in them which had a nice crunch. I could smell the orange scent as soon as I opened the package and thought the flavour was spot on. The perfect sweetness for me (I am partial to sweet cakes etc but it definitely wasn't overly or sickly sweet, just right) Had a couple of orange pieces in it, like candied orange I think, I found them nice but there were only two pieces in the muffin I had so I don't think they added much to the overall muffin, but they were nice when I came across them. Just another Muffin. I tried these Woolworths Orange & Poppyseed Muffins but didn't fell in love with them. They tasted okay and were sufficiently sweet. Perhaps, the combination of Orange and poppy seed contents were not my cup of tea. The health ratings on the pack held me back from consuming more than one muffin. However, I find the labelling was clear enough to easily find them on the shelf at woolies. I find the packaging size convenient too, so that we could eat them up before the expiry date. Thanks woolies, for 'Keeping up the appearances'.

Deliciously Zingy Orange Muffins. I noticed these in store and thought they looked nice - bright packaging and the muffins clearly visible. It looked tempting but I was wondering whether they would taste as good as they looked. Well I wasn't disappointed! They are perfectly textured, not too sweet with a nice sprinkling of poppy seeds throughout. I loved the zingy orange flavour and the added interest of some orange peel in the muffin. They are well-priced at $4. 70 for a 4-pack. These went down so well with my mid-morning coffee. I will certainly be buying them again soon.
A Citrusy Delight in Every Bite! I recently had the pleasure of trying Woolworths Orange & Poppyseed Muffins, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. These muffins are a true treat for the taste buds, and I can't wait to share my thoughts on them. First and foremost, the aroma that wafted through my kitchen when I opened the package was simply divine. The sweet and zesty scent of oranges paired with the earthy fragrance of poppyseeds instantly had my mouth watering. It was a promising start to my muffin experience. Now, let's talk about texture. These muffins are incredibly moist and soft. Each bite feels like a little piece of heaven, and you can tell that they are made with care and quality ingredients. The poppyseeds add a delightful crunch, complementing the overall texture perfectly. But the star of the show here is undoubtedly the orange flavor. Woolworths has nailed the balance between sweetness and tanginess, creating a burst of citrusy goodness in every bite. It's not overpowering but rather a refreshing and invigorating taste that makes these muffins stand out from the crowd. The size of these muffins is just right, making them a convenient and satisfying snack or breakfast option. Whether you're enjoying one with your morning coffee or as an afternoon pick-me-up, you'll find them both filling and satisfying. What's also worth mentioning is that these muffins come in a convenient 4-pack, making them an excellent choice for sharing with family and friends or for grabbing on the go. I also appreciate that Woolworths takes the extra step to provide clear packaging, allowing you to see the muffins before you buy them. This transparency adds to the overall trust and quality that the brand represents. In conclusion, Woolworths Orange & Poppyseed Muffins are a delightful treat that I wholeheartedly recommend. They boast a fantastic balance of flavors, a perfect texture, and a level of quality that's hard to beat. Whether you're a fan of citrusy delights or simply looking for a delicious snack, these muffins are a must-try. I guarantee they will brighten your day with their citrusy goodness. Give them a go—you won't be disappointed!
Bursting With Flavour. These orange and poppyseed muffins are well packaged to protect them from accidentally being squashed without comprising the viewing aspect of the product. The orange flavour is amazing and marries so very well with poppy seeds leading to my failure at stopping at just one bite. Yes, that was my plan………have one bite then hand over to my husband to finish. That didn’t happen as this ever so moist, bursting with flavour and little chunks of orange peel muffin, was just so moreish. A definite winner!
Delicious and great value. *** These muffins were not a sample. These muffins are great value at $4. 70 for four large muffins. The packaging is easy to spot, eye-catching and very appealing. The muffins are light and moist with a great orange flavour including soft chunks of peel and a generous sprinkle of poppyseeds. They do not have an additional crumble topping like some of the other products on the same shelf in the gourmet muffin range. They don’t actually need anything extra on top. I warmed them slightly in the microwave before serving. They are great eating just as they are, but I can imagine that they would dress up well for a dessert with the addition of softly whipped cream and orange segments. Definitely will be a repeat buy for me.
Not a sample. Bought these on the weekend for a morning tea. They were nice. We really enjoyed the flavour. There were small bits of orange peel and a good number of poppy seeds. Like most of the other Woolies muffins they didn't last long in our house. It would be great if they did these in the smaller size, but overall great. We would purchase again.
Thawed from frozen. These are ok. You can smell the orange, but there is not enough orange in the product. I was surprised to see the orange was in the form of jellies, which are made from orange juice. There are only 2% of orange jellies included. The texture is more cup cake rather than muffin. I like the crusty muffin top and dense muffin, this is all soft cup cake texture. Good price, but just remember these products have been frozen.
Orange & Poppyseed Muffins. TASTEThe flavour of these muffins were great. I wasn’t a fan of the orange jelly chunks, texturally it was a little weird. I would have preferred more candied orange peel. However, the muffin was tender, especially if you put it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds - tastes super fresh! I think an element of chocolate, like a white chocolate drizzle or dark choc chips would elevate this product even further. LOOKAlthough the fully plastic packaging makes it easier to see the muffins, environmentally I would prefer something like a baker’s box with an image of the muffins on top. The portion size is perfect - it’s a large muffin but not overfilling.
