This is a great product and far more durable rigid then the Thule Bed rider. I highly recommend. The only thing it needs is some teflon washers on either end of the scure to protect the front fork.

Product was my first choice when i bought my truck, i bought this the same day and installed it. Took about 20 minutes with all adjustments that had to be done. The stock clamp that holds the bike is ok for my girlfriends bike (9mm skewer) but i had to buy a adaptor for the 15mm. Picked up a Yakima adaptor and it failed as it wouldnt lock the bike, so leaving the bike for an hour or so might be a gamble if someone wanted it. SO i picked up a rocky mount system which actually locks the axle in so no need to worry about leaving the bike in the back for a hour or so. I noticed that after a few weeks the bar come lose and turns. This was a issue with the adapter as it would slam into the glass in the back. As mentioned before not much of an issue i just retighten the grips so the bar doesnt spin.

I ordered my Yakima biker bar over the phone and it arrived earlier then estimated. Unfortunately it seemed as though my rack was used at least some of the parts had a little wear but not enough to cause a fuss. Until I sorted out the parts and realized it was missing parts. The box was in pretty bad sharp upon arrival so I would assume it fell out somewhere during the shipping process. My excitement about an early arrival was quickly gone. Nonetheless I went to my local rei and Alex at the Oak Brook location helped me order the missing part. Not before trying to find a speedy solution that didn't work out but the effort was there and he even called me the next day to follow up. These things happen and it's frustrating but Alex handled it better then one would expect.

I was really excited i got this bike rack at 20% off. Then i get it in the mail and they sent me the full-size instead of the mid-size i ordered. Called customer service and reordered another mid-size rack. When i received the second rack, it was another full-size. I returned it and gave Moosejaw one more time to get it right. They sent me another full-size bike rack. Three times they couldn't send me what i ordered. Thanks alot Moosejaw. I Will never buy another thing from this company!
I ordered a full sized Biker Bar for my 2009 F-150. I received a mid- sized rack. I double checked the paperwork I received with it and it clearly indicated full-sized. So, I sent it back and indicated "exchange" on the return paperwork. A few dates later I received an email saying I was receiving a credit for my return. ,,,,I'm not taking a chance on a third screw-up. I'd like a rack before summer is over. I'll find it somewhere else.,,,,Kevin
the Bikerbar was really easy to install, great adjustability, strong, never thought it was going to looses or fail for a second. Installation of the bike mounts was also easy and overall the whole system seems really durable. Fantastic Product!
Bought this a 3 weeks ago for a long trip so I could keep my bike locked up, worked great ,One note it would be nice to have just one way to lock a thru axle to the bar.
Love this and works perfectly for my bikes! Just what I needed - we were going on a trip and it came in time to install it and get it on the road! Fast shipping... good service and amazing product!
I had purchased a Yakima product and it wasn't quite working for me. I called and talked to Stefan and we talked about the product. It just wasn't the right fit for me. Stefan reccomended the biker bar and had my local shop hook me up. I love the biker bar. It's the right product for me. It's very high quality rack. The customer service is fantastic. I will be a customer of Yakima from now on. I highly reccomended this for someone with a truck that has to hit the dirt to get to the trail. It holds the bikes securely! I also like the bed and bike locks. We can go eat somewhere and not worry about our bikes. Great product, great company, great customer service. Bottom Line.
Received this intact with all supplies = good packaging! I got the 78" length bar for my mid sized Colorado. The bar extends past the edge of bed by 6" each side, but not beyond gender flares. 66" would be better but a full size truck is in my future and this will be fine. Loaded my bike , secured it and was confident to walk away from vehicle knowing the locking system would keep it where I left it! I live the matching key ability to not have a key for each Yakima item!I do recommend this locking truck bed bike bar with the measurement knowledge.
